Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our programmes, booking, and more.
What age can swimmers start lessons?
Babies can start from three months old in our Babies programme, where a parent joins the lesson in the water. From there swimmers move into Toddlers and then Learn to Swim. We teach adults at every level too, from complete beginners to stroke improvement.
How long is a lesson?
Babies and Toddlers lessons run 30 minutes. Learn to Swim and adult lessons run 45 minutes. Holiday intensive sessions run longer.
How many swimmers are in each class?
Babies swim one coach to six, toddlers one to four, and no Learn to Swim group goes above eight. Private one-to-one lessons are available at every level.
Where do you teach?
We teach at premium school and community pools across Dubai: DAMAC Hills 2, Universal American School, The English College Dubai, Victory Heights Primary School in City of Arabia, and Deira International School. Two further venues, The International School of Choueifat in Dubai Investments Park and SABIS International School in Aljada Sharjah, join for the 2026/27 season. Pick the one nearest you when you book.
Do you offer trial classes?
Yes, and the trial is free. Trial Week runs 31 August to 6 September 2026, in 30-minute slots. Trial groups are smaller than a normal class: up to three toddlers, six in Learn to Swim, and ten adults. You can also join at other points in the season, subject to availability. See the term dates on our home page, or message us and we will find you a slot.
What do you need from me to book a free trial?
The swimmer's name and age, the venue nearest you, and a contact name, email and phone number. If you are booking for a child, we will ask for the parent's name too.
How do I book a class?
Book through our online booking portal. Choose your programme, venue and time slot, then complete registration and payment. If you are not sure which level suits the swimmer, message us on WhatsApp first and we will point you at the right group.
What should swimmers bring to lessons?
Swimwear, a Fitness Champs swim cap, goggles and a towel. Swimmers who are not yet potty trained need swim nappies.
What happens if we miss a lesson?
A make-up lesson can be arranged for illness or travel, with supporting documents. Let us know before the class starts and send the paperwork within seven days. Missed classes without an approved reason are not refundable. The full rules are in our terms and conditions.
Are your coaches certified?
Yes. All our coaches hold recognised swimming instructor qualifications and train regularly to keep their standards current.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit card only, through the secure booking portal.
What is your cancellation policy?
Once a term has started we do not refund withdrawals, apart from exceptional cases such as long-term illness or relocation. Please read our terms and conditions in full before you pay, and ask us if anything is unclear.
